Greetings from Brasilia, Brazil. My name is Dave Bollenbacher, and I’m the lead pastor at Bridges International Church in Brazil’s capital city. On behalf of our church, I want to thank you and the Directors of the IBCM for approving our recent grant request of $5,000. This comes as a significant blessing and encouragement, as we seek to complete a major construction and renovation project. God is doing significant things here at Bridges, and we are grateful for the service and partnership that the IBCM provides us in the work of His Kingdom.

Thank you so much for the grant you gave to my family and the many others within IBC! I am unable to take a regular salary as pastor of IBC Jurbise, so this was a real blessing.

Wow, this is really an unexpected blessing! What a great surprise! Thank you very much, Christi and IBCM, for supporting us as a family at the MLC. Lydia and I were just reflecting on the time we shared together in Malaga at dinner yesterday, and this is such a generous and kind way to make our memories even sweeter. Bringing kids along to an event comes with lots of hidden/unexpected costs. We really appreciate IBCM for this generous support to relieve that burden. What a blessing! Please share our thanks with the board.

I heard today from Judith Lynn of the International Baptist Convention, that IBCM is supporting a grant for families who attended the pastor conference in March 2024. As a family that participated, we feel incredibly grateful. We were able to experience rest and equipping at this conference, and the extra financial support was such a blessing and encouragement. This invested into our faith and resiliency in the foreign field of Christian work.

Sam and I wanted to send a note of thanks to let you know how much we appreciate receiving the grant for families who attended the IBC’s Ministry Leadership Conference back in March. It was a great help to us especially as the airline lost Sam’s luggage on the way there, so he had to buy new clothes upon landing in Malaga! Some unforeseen expenses but also unexpected blessings.
