My name is Cristi Littrell and I became the IBCM Administrator in 2020. Since that time, I have been awakened to the amazing work that is going on throughout all the international churches that IBCM serves all over the world. It has truly been an education and a blessing to me to learn from the IBCM Board of Directors, the IBC General Secretary, and the many gifted people serving in these churches across the globe.
I was given the opportunity last Fall to attend the IBC Annual Meeting in Stuttgart, Germany and it was such an encouraging and uplifting experience. I was finally able to see one of the churches that I’d been working with for the last several years. I was so grateful to get to meet so many wonderful people from so many different churches. I was able to help answer their questions about IBCM and share how we can help support them in their work of sharing the news of Jesus Christ. God is at work through the talents of these incredible people serving in the IBCM, IBC, and international churches.
This reminds me of a verse from 1 Peter. “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace” – 1 Peter 4:10. We have all been given a gift. It may be leadership qualities, public speaking, musical abilities, teaching, or business skills. We can use these gifts to glorify God in our day to day lives. While all our gifts serve a different function, they are all equally important to God. When we use these gifts collectively, we can help further the kingdom of Christ.
I’m thankful that God gave me the gift of financial skills and that I have been able to use that gift over the past four years to serve IBCM, and ultimately Christ. I have been given a unique opportunity to serve the Lord from where I live, and I would love to connect with you if you’d like to learn more about donating, becoming a member of IBCM, or attending our next annual meeting in February 2025.
